About ASM Trainings
One of the most active programs within Ananda Seva is our Guru Kula Institute which offers a variety of certification programs for those wishing to work within the field of yoga as a teacher, yoga therapist, yogic minister, spiritual director or coach.
The Ananda Seva Guru Kula Institute offers 200 and 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification programs; a 300 hour and 800 hour Yoga Therapy Training Certification program, which for those who have a 200 hour teacher training becomes a 500 hour certification; Advanced Tattvic Spiritual Development Training, Yoga Life Coach Training and Acharya Training as well as various specialty courses. Trainings are held at our main center in Santa Rosa, California, as well as in Eugene, Oregon, Finland, and the Philippines.
Our programs are all approved by Yoga Alliance and can be taken sequentially to receive a full education in the field of yoga, covering yoga asana postures, yogic health practices, yoga psychology, philosophy, Sanskrit and finally, for those who are qualified, how to give transmission of the deep meditation practices given by our beloved Gurudeva, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. Ananda Seva also offers six month and one year residential work study trainings called Yogic Life Training for those who wish to enter an immersion program and live a yogic life.
Many students report our trainings to be life transforming experiences, which give opportunity to live the yogic lifestyle and really deepen in one's personal practice and spiritual life.
