Feminine Mysticism
Feminine Mysticism is a vast subject that was well explored in ancient schools of Tantra. The art of Feminine Mysticism as taught in the esoteric women's circles of the past has largely been lost overtime and until now, essentially no longer existed. The re-emergence of this knowledge, given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, is timely and powerful in this era where the feminine psyche is reclaiming her power.
Many people today consider women to be akin to men, that women are like men but underprivileged. But in fact women are different from men in many ways. They have their own unique capabilities and potentialities as women.
Now in the physical realm the differences between men and women are obvious. In the mental sphere they become more obscure and in the spiritual realm they do not exist. Women have great capabilities and potentialities. They are in no way the weaker sex, but the special characteristic and influences which mark the path for one in a female body must be acknowledged and utilized for maximum realization of one's innate potential.

Intuitional Discourses on
Women’s Spiritual Path and Women’s Lives
Shrii Shrii Anandamurti has talked extensively by Anandamaetreyii about different aspects of women’s life and the path of feminine mysticism. The discourses cover topics on women’s spiritual potential, matriarchy, relationship, motherhood and women in the world and working life. Soon a book will be published on these subjects.
Ancient History of Women
"In ancient times people used to worship the Goddess, the Great Mother. Today this feminine face of God again rises to the front."

In most of our history books the history starts from the time of patriarchy, men being the dominant sex in ancient societies. Mostly women researchers have raised the issue of the prehistoric matriarchies, that in all cultures around the world there existed the rule of women before the rule of men, and the first deity was a female, the Great Goddess, the Great Mother. Shrii Shrii Anandamurti goes into details explaining those ancient matriarchies and women’s role in them.

"The greatness of woman is to bring the feminine heart to change that masculine force, to soften it, modify it, dance with it in a rhythm which will shape it and sooth and put an end to the strains which now rest upon the world."

Women’s sexuality differs from that of men, and can be a special aid to spirituality. Men’s path has its own advantages as well.

"The cycles of woman’s life are a part of nature, they are part of the rhythm of the earth and moon. They are great, not the weaknesses of woman. They are the tides of nature."
Our society does not give proper scope for the women’s cycle and its relevance to women’s health and wellbeing nor is the role of the mother much valued in our society.

What is the true liberation of women? Not becoming equal with men but finding their own strength and expressing their true nature in working life and in the society.
