Everyone has a Direct Connection to Guru

For Parama Purusha and his children, no one is outside of him. Each and every one has direct relationship to him. Each one has direct association with him. Their association becomes forgotten just as the child forgets the mother, the father, going off, being absorbed in life. When they take the time, they remember again, "Oh yes. That is where I came from." Returning to relationship, they find the unconditional love of the divine father, divine mother.

This unconditional love does not depend on any external circumstances or any achievements. Rather it depends upon one’s internal longing, the sincerity within one’s heart to know the supreme. This is the primary key to success. If one’s heart is little insincere, one is torn between Parama Purusha and many other interesting engagements, then one will receive the same degree of association as one’s degree of sincerity of intent, one’s willingness to make Parama Purusha the sole star of one’s life.

Now guru comes into this physical world from time to time to bring the message of his existence, to tell all the living beings, "Wait, turn around, look within; do not look to the external forms alone." Once the message is given, he leaves this physical world because he is found within oneself. He lies within and without. His presence is neither internal nor external because, in truth, there is no such thing as internal and external. He is here always. This universe is his internal projection. Your association with him does not depend on external achievements or circumstances. It is entirely an internal experience. When one touches the sea of beatitude within one’s being, one realizes, "There is no place guru can go for he is everywhere." He cannot die. He cannot grow old. He cannot move away from you. You cannot lose him because he is everywhere and he has never changed, never moved. You want to find him outside of yourself but he is the Self of your self. He is in all things, all beings, all circumstance and all situations. He never changes though the appearances vary as grains of sand on all the beaches of all the seas of this world. Countless are his forms, varied his expressions but his nature remains one and unchanging. He remains ever the same through all time and space and if you but turn around and face him you realize he is always with you. He goes nowhere. He cannot be lost nor found for he has never gone away from you. You have merely turned away from him. If you turn back, he is there.

Guru comes in physical form to give reminder of his presence but in the end, he is not outside oneself but rather in all beings. In all existence, in the nature of the Self, he abides. This world is constantly moving in clash, struggle and cohesion. It is ever in a process of birth, life, decay and death, then again birth. It moves in this flow and pattern. Always there is struggle, always there is clash in this material world. It is unavoidable. However, in knowledge of the real Self all clash, all opposition of forces gets entirely resolved. Make him the polestar of your life and dedicate yourself with all the sincerity of your heart, all the strength of your mind to know him, to realize his nature. Then many things will change and the peace of heart and mind will come to you. Your desire must be deep and sincere. Otherwise, when you relegate him to little part of Sunday, then when you notice, it will only be a little part of Sunday because you have looked away from him. Look more to him, each and every day. This is my advice.
