Join us each week for music, dancing, meditation and spiritual discussion. Dharma (that which sustains) and cakra (focal point) is a term used for gathering together the energies around a common focus, meditation. When we come together on a regular basis, our individual and collective intentions are strengthens. All traditions are welcome
First of the Month Potluck and Group Meditation
1st Sunday of the month, 10:00 am
On the first of the month, the community meets in the morning for a program that includes music, kiirtan, meditation followed by a Sattvic Potluck.
The term Sattvic is translated as "purity" These are foods that are beneficial for the body and the mind. The main foods that are avoided are: Meat, Garlic, Onions, Mushrooms and Eggs. Please contact us for more information. 541-342-7621
About Dharmalaya
Dharmalaya is an advanced model of sustainable living. Dharmalaya has a large organic garden. Fruit trees at the site include pears, apples, cherries, figs, grapes, plums, asian pears, and walnuts. There are also blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, thimbleberries, gooseberries, goumi berries, aronia berries, blackberries, huckleberries, and currants.

A history of offering extended emersion experiences in yoga
Dharmalaya, in partnership with Ananda Seva Eugene, has an established and successful history of programs that offer inspiring, holistic experiences in yoga. Previous and upcoming programs include:
- Yoga Teachers Training Program The first Yoga Teachers Training program in the South Willamette Valley was held at Dharmalaya. This program provided in-depth training in the breadth of yoga and support for applying yoga to better self and society.
- Dharmalaya Summer Yoga Camp This summer program is a continuing education and community building event. It is collectively organized and presented by advanced students and teachers who take shared responsibility for strengthening the knowledge and skill base of participants.
- Dharma Training This week-long advanced training includes instruction in asanas, meditation, sutras, philosophy, devotional practices, yogic health and Sanskrit.
- Yoga Day Mini-Retreats These popular monthly one-day holistic yoga experiences include asanas, meditation, yogic health, aerobic walk, spiritual community, kirtan, vegetarian meal, and spiritual philosophy.
- Yoga Life Training Live-in training This is a live-in program includes advanced instruction in meditation and philosophy, regular practice in an ashram type setting, and service responsibilities, and empowers participants to become agents of personal growth and social change.
- International Yoga Retreats Several five-day international yoga retreats have been hosted here, with people attending from countries such as Cyprus, Finland, Canada, and the Philippines.
