If you are new to meditation and in need of a meditation practice, please let us know and one of our meditation instructors can help you. We do not charge for teaching meditation practices as we feel it is the birthright of every person to have full opportunity to know the Self.

**All Meals will be Sattvic Vegetarian, meaning NO: meat, eggs, onion, garlic or mushrooms

Ananda Kamalalaya, Santa Rosa, CA

Ananda Kamalalaya, Ananda Seva's home center, sits atop a hillside overlooking the Sonoma valley and nearby mountain ranges. There are 3 acres of beautiful meadows, old California oak trees and a seasonal meandering creek, as well as a hot tub, pool and nearby wilderness hiking trails and lakes only minutes away. The meditation room is filled with windows and light and overlooks the mountains giving the setting a sense of peace and spiritual presence.

The Ashram has a large two story main house with six bedrooms and four cabins as well as tenting space under the oaks. On site accommodations are very limited and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. If off site, we can book accommodations or you can possibly stay with another local family. Delicious vegetarian meals will be provided, at the ashram, twice a day with some available snacks through out the day.

Registration and Scholarships

Write or call to reserve your space and send in at least $75 deposit. All fees are due in full by the beginning of the retreat.

Retreat Fees:

~ $295 Full Retreat: tuition, meals & accommodations at the Ashram
~ $200 Full Retreat: tuition and meals only (off Campus housing)
~ $60 Day fee (tuition & meals)
~ $185 Students
~ $75 Children 6-12 years. 5 and under: Free
*Recommended Scholarship Donation: $100

Scholarships:

Scholarships are available for those who have a demonstrated financial need. It is our policy that all may attend, but those who qualify for assistance must either set up a pre-payment plan or assist by doing service. We have two work study positions available to do set up two days before and clean up two days after the retreat.

For those who are facing financial hardship and feel that they will have difficulty paying fees, please contact Ananda Deviika Ma or Maetreyii Ma at the Ananda Seva office (707) 575-0886 in order to develop either a payment plan, karma yoga plan, or other scholarship arrangement. All scholarships must be arranged in advance.
