Introduction to Feminine Mysticism

March 9, 1992.

     In ancient India the cult of Tantra was a matriarchal cult. Given by Lord Shiva to Parvati , this secret teaching was handed down generation upon generation. For centuries it remained primarily in the hands of women. Also in ancient Egypt women first held the great knowledge. They were the priestesses before the pharaohs and the priestly orders came to power. All that the priest knew was learned from these ancient women, these mothers of human society.

     So feminine mysticism is an ancient topic.  It was well explored by the cults of these ancient cultures. As time passed and women lost status, their spiritual rites became banned by the priests. They became labeled either immoral or dangerous. These women of the past who knew the journey became very few. They hid themselves so as to protect both the teachings and their lives. In India, their knowledge is all but lost. It has been kept alive in certain arcane schools, but in larger part it is forgotten. In other parts of the world the same is true. Now women search for their lost heritage, but it is not to be found. Why is this? There are several reasons. First it is all but lost, the mystery schools for women are no longer. Second, these teachings were given for a different age, a different time in the evolution of human society. Now a new order develops. Women are coming out of darkness. Feminine Mysticism is about to surface again. The spiritual teachings for women are soon to be brought to light. When this occurs there will be a shift and the Mother will come forward on this earth. She will gain power and status once again.

     So women of this era should not worry, their day is at hand, not in one organization or one country, or one philosophy, but throughout human society this quiet revolution will occur and a new age built on love will come into being. The re-emergence of feminine mysticism, feminine spiritual cult is key to this transformation. So it is a most important topic, this feminine mysticism. Much attention should be given to this topic in all stratum of this society. It will emerge, it is a certainty.

     I will give this cult for female spiritual development. This knowledge will emerge in due time. The time for the full impact of this teaching has not come. You must be patient. It will be soon enough. I will give some at this juncture but the main body of teachings cannot be given for a little while. Some others will give similar teachings. When the time comes the knowledge will emerge in several forms.

     Women are soon to gain in status and power. Their plight will improve. There are forces beyond the ordinary at work in this respect. Oppression, violence, and inferior status will fall away. Even though the real change will be quietly done, effort will have to be made to educate women, to draw them to spiritual practice, to give them shelter from immoral men, to denounce violence against women, and to gain political and economic influence.
