Ananda Seva invites you to our Winter Retreat at Ananda Kamalalaya, Ananda Seva Yoga and Meditation Center, in Santa Rosa California this coming February. This year we will focus on how we can envision our personal and collective spiritual lives and actualize our personal and spiritual goals. We will explore the power of positive thinking in assisting with personal spiritual progress and our collective culture.
This will be an internal time in which, through meditation, yoga and sincere discussions with friends, we will have opportunity to reflect upon our lives and focus our intentions for the emerging year. Through discussion groups we will explore how to enhance positivity and well being, as well as deepen our realization of the Divine, by our personal and collective attitudes and actions.
This retreat is open to both advanced meditators and those new to yogic practices.

If you are new to meditation and in need of a meditation practice, please let us know and one of our meditation instructors can help you. We do not charge for teaching meditation practices as we feel it is the birthright of every person to have full opportunity to know the Self.
About the Retreat Site
Ananda Kamalalaya, Ananda Seva's home center, sits atop a hillside overlooking the Sonoma valley and nearby mountain ranges. There are 3 acres of beautiful meadows, old California oak trees and a seasonal meandering creek, as well as a hot tub, pool and nearby wilderness hiking trails and lakes only minutes away. The meditation room is filled with windows and light and overlooks the mountains giving the setting a since of peace and spiritual presence.
The Ashram has a large two story main house with six bedrooms and three cabins as well as tenting space under the oaks. On site accommodations are very limited and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Delicious vegetarian meals will be served.

Recommended Scholarship Donation: $100
We ask that those with the means to assist, help us to make scholarships available by donating to our scholarship fund or sponsoring someone in need so they may come to the retreat.
Scholarship Fund
Scholarships are available for those who have a demonstrated financial need. It is our policy that all may attend, but those who qualify for assistance must either set up a pre-payment plan or assist by doing service. We have two work study positions available to do set up two days before and clean up two days after the retreat.
For those who are facing financial hardship and feel that they will have difficulty paying fees, please contact Ananda Deviika Ma or Maetreyii Ma at the Ananda Seva office (707) 575-0886 in order to develop either a payment plan, karma yoga plan, or other scholarship arrangement. All scholarships must be arranged in advanced.
Registration
Please send your registration as soon as possible with a $50 deposit to hold your space. Rooms will be assigned on a first come first served basis as double rooms are limited. On site space is limited and is primarily dormitory style. Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
