1.1.2 devotional

This morning I will address the topic of Devotion. There are those that think that Parama Parusha is a very distant entity, is very removed from their experience. They believe that the Supreme is a high and mighty king sitting somewhere beyond their reach in a heavenly realm. For such people God becomes unattainable. For in their minds they have place Him beyond reach. Yet in actuality He is not beyond reach. He is attainable for each and every human being. He does not discriminate and say 'You are not worthy, you are not good enough, you are not wise enough, you have not done sufficient good works'. It is not like this.

That Supreme Radiance is accessible, is attainable for each and every human being. He is your closest friend, your greatest ally, and to know Him is not complicated. It is not difficult. To know that One from whom this entire creation has sprung, you need do only one action. That action is to look within. To look within your very heart, to go deep within, deeper and deeper to the very essance of your expressed existence. In that expression you will find the Supreme Effulgance. That Devine Radiance is your birthright, your home of homes. From Him has sprung your sense of existence, your knowledge and all that you appear to be. But what are you behind this appearance, behind that facade of your expression? What are you? You are that very divinity expressing yourself in human form. So do not think 'I am not wise enough to know God. I am not such a good Sadhaka. Pehaps others who are more disciplined, more intelligent, more spiritual will know him. But I cannot attain such beatitude.' Do not think like this. Divinity is your nature, your birthright and very accessible to you.

So fear not the influences of outer forces. Fear not your future. You are ever held in the gracious love of the Supreme. There is no where you may go that the Lord is not with you, not assisting you. You see, that most gracious God resides with you. Within you and accesible to you through the action of looking within. Stay ever connected through this simple act. But remember you must look very deeply, beyond the mind, beyond all of the imagined identities to your very existence. There you will find that your search is finished and there is nowhere to go.
