Now you know, in this physical world, there are so many experiences to be had, so many colors to enjoy that it is very easy to become absorbed in the infinite display of fascinating colors and shapes so that mind becomes completely involved with this mundane reality and loses some perspective, but if that Supreme Entity is kept as Pole Star of one's life, if that Entity is kept as the focus of one's desire, then surely there will be a pull towards that Entity rather than the colors of this created Universe. And that Supreme Purusa is bound to be attracted to you and to take you as His object of ideation.

So if you want to be the object of Parama Purusa, if you want to be His object of ideation, so that He is thinking about you while you are thinking about Him, what must happen? You must take Him as the guiding force, as the object of your ideation. You cannot think 'Oh it would be nice to know Him, but I am so fascinated by the colors of this mundane world that I don't have time to sit and think about Him.' If you do like this, if you ignore Him, He is bound also to ignore you and so you will never meet. If you want to reach Him, you must look to Him. You cannot look aside. Otherwise, if you are ignoring Him what is He to do, what can He do? He cannot pay attention to you, if you are not paying attention to Him. If you want His attention, you must give Him yours. Then He will have to give you His. He will get attracted by you and He will think 'What am I to do, this girl, this boy is so intent. There is nothing I can do but look back on them.' Do you understand? If you want the Grace of that Supreme Entity, you must make your intentions known to Him. Now, how to do? First, you must do Sadhana, you must take time to call His name, to keep His name always on your lips. So think of Him always, build your life around Him. These are the things that make true devotion. When that is there, then He cannot help but turn His gaze on you and give His sweet assistance to guide you, to show you the path of Blessedness.
