Origins of Vaeshyan Era

December 2, 1996

Q: At what point in history did the vaeshyan era have its origins in India? And at what point in Europe?

Now, in India, the vaeshyan era began with the degeneration of the religious movement and the Mogul invasion. As a reaction to that invasion, the vipran society was crushed and there was a temporary hold by the ks'attriyan Moguls, but the reactions to this event was the formation

of vaeshyan tendency which slowly began to manifest in the society. However, due to the vipran psychology, a true vaeshyan society never developed.

In the West, the vipran rule was well-established. But with the development of trade in the 1600's, the vaeshyan society began to gain a strong hand, and soon an upper hand, diminishing the importance of church and enhancing the greatness of the merchants. Now, that vaeshyan development came into full force and dominance by the early 1700's in most Western countries and became the psychology of the West. India has now adopted this same vaeshyan mentality though the roots of its vipran past still run deep.
