3.1 microvita

Nirmegha: "This is interesting, instead of beginning the talk, Baba said Come, come here, sit on my lap. What is it if I touch your heart?' I felt Him putting His hand on my heart. He says Is it energy or is it microvita?'. He says microvita."

KP: "What do you feel it as?"

Nirmegha: "He says it is through microvita that I communicate. I feel His energy."

KP: "Why do we call it energy? Is it because we don't know how to differentiate between microvita and energy?"

Answer: You call it energy, but it is not energy because it is carried on the waves of mind. It is psychic energy. This energy, the energy of thought, of spiritual flow, is carried through the media of microvita. The other energy, the material energy, is not carried through microvita, but is sustained in the five fundamental factors. So there are two types of energy: mental energy which utilizes microvita and physical energy which utilizes the five fundamental factors.

Now, both of these energies are emanations of the Cosmic Mind and both of these energies are the expression of the Cosmic Mind. There is one difference between them: one is generated in the introversial phase of evolution and the other is generated during the extroversial phase of evolution. Now, when heat is released from matter, when the log is burned in the fireplace and the heat rises from the log, it is not matter: it is energy which is produced from matter. It is produced in the extroversial phase of evolution and then it impacts the physical world, not the psychic world. So energy is a byproduct of matter.

When matter is decomposed or transmuted it becomes energy. But when energy is condensed, then a different process happens in which the matter becomes biochemically altered and there is the production of microvita. So matter releases two types of energy: one is physical energy, and the other is microvita or psychic energy, life force. It is mental. So the rudimentary building block of mind is produced from matter. The living force comes from matter.

Physical energy also comes from matter but it is not produced through the same process. It comes through the decomposition or the alteration of material force. If you split the atom, you will get physical energy. If you burn the wood you will get physical energy in the form of heat and light. So, in the process of the production of energy from matter, there is a more subtle development of material substance. When the wood is burned, when the atom is cut, then there is the production of pure energy, raw energy. When it is seen in the physical sphere, it becomes heat and light. So, that which is crude becomes more subtle, but not following the entire evolutionary flow into living force. It is released, instead, into the physical sphere as energy through the transmutation of matter.

Now, microvita is a different form of development. It comes through the condensation of matter. And, if released from matter, then when it is released, the material substance is, itself, transformed. But it is not transformed in such a way that it will release the physical energy, rather it will become living substance and it will associate with mind stuff. That mind stuff is composed of microvita. So, you see, they are both forms of energy, that is, released substance from matter. One is psychic, the other is physical. Physical means it is still operating within the realm of the five fundamental factors. There is a reduction in crudification and the composition of the five fundamental factors is altered. The rajasic element and the sattvic element gain dominance and so material substance becomes energy. Then that energy may express utilizing the five fundamental factors. In etherial factor, it is raw energy. Then it may become heat in gaseous factor or light in the luminous factor. So, you see, the balance of the gunas is altered and the released energy becomes the manifestation of the more subtle factors.

So again, substance is transmuted from matter to other factors less crude and this process of transmutation from matter to energy gives off physical energy which is available for physical purposes in the physical universe. So in this way, the physical universe may be altered and the balance of the gunas shifted and impacted. Then, when this energy is applied, again matter is altered. So if the energy is applied in a practical way, so many things can be done to alter the physical universe. It is like a shovel in the ground: it may alter the physical universe. Its properties are physical and it operates within the realm of the five fundamental factors, but it is highly rajasic so it may perform activities in the physical universe. So energy is dominated by rajaguna and performs activities in the physical universe. It is released from matter. The five fundamental factors develop and then when the matter or solid factor comes in contact with a subtler factor such as the fire element, then the wood burns and the energy is released. The energy may be become heat, but it may be transmuted into other various elements if it is properly utilized.

If the water is falling, the power of the water going on the water wheel may cause the water wheel to go round and round and then, from that, there is a friction developed which can produce energy. That energy, again, may be utilized to manipulate the physical universe. So, many things may come. There may be television, there may be telephone, there may be so many changes that can be intentionally done with the utilization of energy. It may keep the house warm in the dead of winter. It may change so many things when physical technology is developed. What is physical technology? It is the capacity to harness and utilize energy. When it becomes fully developed, all manner of things can be done in the physical universe. The physical universe can be altogether altered.

Now, microvita is a different form of energy. It is life force energy. It is in the psychic field and ideas are carried on the waves of microvita. So what is controlling these physical energies when they are released, when they are harnessed and channeled to alter the physical universe? What is controlling this physical energy? Microvita. Ideas are controlling the physical energy. Mind is controlling the physical energy. Is it not? So it is a natural law or operative principal of this universe that a more subtle energy controls the less subtle energy. And the microvita, the ideas carried on the inferential waves of microvita, control the physical energies released from matter to channel and systematize them in order to regulate the manifest universe.

If technology is to be successfully applied, there must be sufficient mental energy, sufficient microvita, sufficient ideas to structure and control the energy or else there will be disastrous results. So, if physical energy is released in great amounts but the psychic development is not there, then the situation becomes detrimental. That is why there must be spiritualization of a society to properly handle technology. There must be greater mental development, greater development of concepts and ideas and subtlety of mind and concentration of microvita, and then the physical universe may be altered in a constructive fashion. So, are there more questions regarding this topic?

A: Energy is not matter. It is contained in potentiality within matter. They are different. Matter is composed of primarily solid factor. Now, in solid factor, there is dominance of tamaguna and so the composition of the gunas shows primarily tamaguna. What causes the release of energy is the alteration in the patterning of the gunas. When the gunas are altered, the energy is released from the matter. What is the energy? It is merely transmuted matter. That is to say it is not the same as matter because the composition of gunas is changed. You know, the whole universe is made out of Cosmic Mind, is it not? This is the fundamental compositional factor of all manifestation. This Cosmic Mind, this universe is a mental projection. But, within that mental projection there is certain patterning. Within that patterning, there are the five fundamental factors and the development of the extroversial phase of evolution. This all takes place within the Cosmic Mind. So, in this reality, we say this is solid factor. But in reality what do we say? This is Cosmic Mind Stuff assuming the form of solid factor. So when solid factor is transmuted by alteration of the gunas and dominance of rajaguna and energy is released, then we say it is energy. But what is it? It is Cosmic Mind. Both are Cosmic Mind. Solid factor is Cosmic Mind constricted in such a pattern that there is dominance of tamaguna. Energy is Cosmic Mind constricted in such a pattern that there is a strong emphasis of rajaguna. So it has to do with the configuration, not with the nature of the substance.

But the patterning configuration, each of these five fundamental factors is a particular patterning. Energy is also a particular patterning and it was patterned into the more subtle factor so that it will pattern again to light and then again to the etherial factor in which there will be raw energy. And it will pattern to gaseous factor where there will be the heat element. The characteristic which would make one call the substance energy is the dominance of rajaguna. It is reactive. It is like the shovel in the earth: it works in the physical universe. It is a working substance in the physical universe. So it is energy that holds the universe together. It is energy that pulls it this way, pulls it that way, does this, does that. It is the workhorse of the physical universe. It is the mutative force. It will mutate so gaseous becomes liquid, liquid becomes solid, and what is causing the mutation? Rajaguna is causing the mutation. It is an energy characteristic. Then when the raw energy is released from the physical substance, then again there is an alteration in the configuration so that there is a spiking in the dominance of rajaguna and this very active force transmutes itself into various factors. But what it is, is Cosmic Mind. Nothing else. Cosmic Mind in the operational development of the physical universe. Do you understand?

Nirmegha: "He says again When I touch you, what is it?'"

KP: "Microvita."

Nirmegha: "He says it is microvita that is using love as the medium."

Love is the very nature of the universe. What is love? Is it composed of energy or microvita? It is the very substance of the universe, is it not? We say the glue which holds the entire universe together is love. It is the attracting force. When the little comes in contact with the Great, the little is overwhelmed with love. It is the love of Parama Purus'a which draws Him to embrace all manifestation and to bring all that evolves into Himself. That attracting force is love. What is this love that attracts the little to the Great, the Great to the little which is the binding principal of the entire cosmological order? If one looks with a subtle eye, if the third eye is open on the person, they will look about and they will not see the physical objects before them. They will see the consolidation of love itself. They will see that Cosmic Being, Divine love is everything, everywhere and all that exists is a product of love, exists of love, by love, and for love. They will see that this entire universe is made of one substance, one existence, one expression and held all together by love, existing for love in love. What is this love? It is the very glue, the very substance of which this entire universe is composed. It is the very nature of consciousness. So love is neither microvita nor energy but an even more subtle expression. It is the medium for consciousness. Microvita is the medium for mind: energy is the medium for the physical universe: and love is the medium for consciousness. Alright?

So when I touch you what is it?

KP: "Microvita."

Microvita are utilized to communicate psychic touch, but it is love also. The spiritual touch is carried on the waves of love. Consciousness moves in the medium of love. When it has mental expression, it has microvita also. But consciousness moves directly on love. And so, when Baba is near, what do you feel? You feel love. So, words are communicated through the medium of ideas which are communicated through the medium of mind. Mind is touched by microvita, but heart is touched by love. Consciousness touches consciousness through the medium of love.

Note: As this last paragraph was being said and there after, I felt Baba's love spread in a wave over my higher cakras from Anahat to Sahasrara, and then withdraw, and then spread over again, and then withdraw, three or four times. There is a constant low level buzz in my phone which, when each wave came over, the buzz went away. I felt it was a direct result of the effect of the love and or microvita that were coming and going and directly affecting the physical energy around me. - KP
