Q: How can the astrological correlation of planetary positions with human events and human personality be explained? What is the force - if there is such - that mediates this correlation?

That force is microvitum, life force. On the inferential waves of this manifest universe, the causal matrix is built. In that matrix the explosion of a star and the birth of a baby are all connected. It is an interwoven tapestry of galactic proportions in which events, people, and circumstances are all woven. If someone sees a hole in the weaving in one spot, it will affect the entire piece. If the threads are woven in this way or that in another spot, the whole piece will get affected. It is an interwoven, interconnected matrix of living substance, the causal matrix. From it all events come.

Q: In some of the microvita discourses, use is made of the term 'carbonic atoms'. Is some significance given to this term other than that of existing physics? If the significance of this term has to do with its capacity to serve as a basis for organic molecules, can biological life forms evolve that are based on atoms other than carbon?

This is a very good question. I would say that there are other life forms that are not carbonic. Carbonic in this sense means carbon based life forms. But there are life forms which are not carbon based, as well. Life comes in many shapes, many colors and in different types of structure. What it has in common that makes it alive, is that there is the release of the tamasic principle so that the prana exists around the atom; this subtle energy which becomes mind. And so mind is attached with atomic structures that are non-carbonic as well as with structures that are carbonic. However, in this manifest universe, carbonic structures are the most common structure suitable for living substance. Alright?
