On this evening, let us explore the topic of Divine Love. You know, there are people who think that a human being must live their lives alone, be responsible for themselves. They must struggle and make the best of their lives. And there are people who think that a human being is at whim of circumstance and can do very little about the direction and experience which they have in their lives. Now if a person is in charge of their lives or if they are the helpless victim of circumstance, may depend upon one factor. That is, if they feel that within themselves there is the capacity, the greatness to make a stand in their life, to stand for something great in their life, to know something of life in a way that is meaningful. In order to be able to do this, a human being must come to know that within themselves there is greatness. Within each and every human being there is greatness. No person is small or insignificant, for each and every person is an expression of the Divine Presence, the Divine Entity. For that Divinity lies quiescent within each and every human being and in fact even within all the small creatures of this world. That Divinity is in all things, all people, the plants, the animals. It is all around you and within you. And not only is it all around you and within you , it is guiding your life. For the same force which guides the stars, guides you also. That Divine Presence is not inaccessible. It is entirely accessible to you, through your 'I' feeling, through your own sense of existence, for in your essential nature, in the core of your humanity lies Divinity. And in that Divinity lies shelter, absolute. So if you would have shelter from the stones and if you would have courage to take the life in your own hands, you must first believe in yourself. And how to believe? Believe by knowing that that Divine Essence lies within you, is at the core of your being, that you are not alone nor are you helpless, nor are you insignificant or unimportant for you are Divine by nature. It is your birthright to come to know that Divinity within you, it is your Dharma, your fundamental longing as a human being. It is your fundamental purpose as a human being to search for and come to realize the Divine Essence within yourself. That is the greatness of a human life. There are so many pursuits which can be followed, so many things to achieve in the world. But all of the great achievements that you make, all of the wondrous things that you do, all of the mountains of success which you build will one day wash away, will one day fade away from you. It is the nature of these experiences to rise and fall with the passage of time.

But that which is eternal, that which you have under all circumstance is your own self. It is within you that the source of your success lies. For all of these external successes are one day the cause of your joy and the next day the cause of your pain. But which will not bring you suffering is the Divine Love which lies in the core of your own heart, the essence of your humanity, in your own I feeling. This is the success which can be carried with you, which you can build upon. It is the rock upon which you will be held strong. And if you have that strength under you, you can do many things in this life. And you need never feel that your life is not successful. You need never feel that you are the victim of your own life, the victim of the circumstance, of the doings of people. You need not be the victim. You have within you all that you require. You have within you Greatness, you have within you Divinity, you have within you a Love, a strength which is incomparable. Only you must come to know how to touch that inner essence, how to come in contact with that sweetness which is within you, how to come in contact with that strength which is within you. And when you learn how to contact that, you will find that you have all that you require. For you are not alone or helpless, the Divine is with you, caring for you, loving you, always looking to you. That Divine Entity is always looking to you. But the problem is you have been looking away from Him, away from Her, you have been looking away. So what can that Divine Mother, Divine Father do when you are looking away? You do not notice from where you have come. And you think you are on your own. And so you face the trials and tribulations of your own. But if you take the shelter of you own heart, you take the shelter of the Divine, in that shelter you will find, you are not alone, that there is the Divine Presence, a Divine Guidance with you at all time. And that Divinity will be with you through thick and thin. Only thing you must turn around, you must turn yourself around, you must take a sincere intent to search within yourself and come to know that place, that Divine presence within you. For That One is always there for you. You only must take the force of your mind and turn it about from the objects of the world and search the inner path to your own self, to the Divine Love, to the Divine Presence within you. And what is the most effective method for doing this? It is Love. It is to cultivate a love for God, a love for the Divine. Through this Love for God, you will come to know Him very quickly. It is the best method to cultivate a love for the Divinity which lies within you and which is all around you. And in cultivating this love, to serve living beings is very helpful. You need not be in the master of a great service program. You may serve living beings in just small ways, in each and every day, in the little things in your life. You may serve many people with a smile, with a glance, with a sweet word, with a thoughtful act, you may serve others. You may find the ways in each and every day to serve human beings and to serve animals and plants. And from these kindly acts your heart will soften and you will discover a more loving feeling is coming in you. And that you are more in love with all that is around you and with your own self. And it is this love you want to cultivate, to have it grow, to have it become more and more visible to you so that you may say: I love myself very much , I love all beings very much and I love the Divine who is with me, in me, through me, and in all that I see, all that I feel, all that I do and all that I am.

So if you wish to have a successful life, to be one in charge of your life, to feel that your life is destined for happiness, then let yourself build your life on the solid rock, on Divinity. And take no smaller shelter in your life, for all other shelters will leave you crying. So may the Divine, the shelter of your life, the goal of your life and your constant companion. Fill your heart with love, fill your mind with thoughts of God, thoughts of love for all beings and do service to all , in simple ways and in grand ways. And take upon yourself a little time each day to remember who you are, what you are, to remember the greatness which lies within you.

Look deep within your own heart to know what it is you truly want. There are so many considerations, so many rationales, so many thoughts about the situation, but within you, deep within your own heart, deep inside of yourself there is an answer to this question.
