1.1.1 FNS
I will speak tonight upon the topic of spiritual love. You know many people say that they love God. Many people say that they have interest in spirituality. They say that enjoy going to spiritual lectures
or doing meditation. But what is it that they truly love. Deep in their hearts what do they love? Each and every person is the child of God. Each and every person is the child of the Supreme Progenitor and the divine being. And each and every person is divine within themselves. But everything which they said they love is contained within them. So if a person says: I love God and if they would mean that statement very deep within themselves, they must love themselves also, for they are the expression of that Divinity in this manifest world. So if you say, I love the Divine, you must also say, I love myself. Though I have many failings, though I do not feel great, still I love myself. For I know deep within, my essential nature is divine. That Pure Consciousness shines within me, no matter what has happened in my life, no matter how many struggles I have faced, no matter how many difficulties are there, still that Divine Consciousness exists within me. This I know. Therefore I not only love Divinity, I love myself. So one who would say that they love God, must love themselves also. For man and God are not so far apart. Within each person there is one 'I' feeling. This feeling 'I exist', this essential sense of personal existence is the connecting link between the little and the Great. So that when you go inside of yourself, when you dwell very deep inside of yourself, what do you see? There is within you a deep feeling of your own existence, is it not? And within this feeling of existence, there is the experience of Consciousness, Cognition, pure Cognition, I know that I exist. The one who is the knower of existence, that knower is the Cognitive Entity, the Witness of your existence. And that Witness is not so different from the witness from each and every person's existence, from the witness of this whole play of creation. And that Witness of whole creation, that Consciousness which witnesses the rise and fall of this manifest universe, that Consciousness is the Divine Progenitor from which this entire creation has sprung. That Consciousness is for ever one, it is self-aware, self-aware existence, pure, untainted, unbound, beyond all dualities, the infinite. And that very Infinite Consciousness which resides free from all boundaries, in which the entire play of creation is taking place, that Consciousness is the very same consciousness that is cognizant of your own existence, in which you may bring yourself to self-awareness, to be the core of your own existence. So I say, if you would love God, then you must love the one who knows your existence, for there is no difference between that core that witnessing entity of your existence and the core of all creation. They are one and the same. Know your own 'I' feeling, know the one who is the witness of your 'I' feeling and you will know all. There is only one witnessing entity for this entire manifest expression and for that consciousness this whole play of creation is internal. It is not separate, the whole of creation is an internal play, an internal expression, a dance, liila and why is it dance, why is this liila, why does it exist? It is just for mere sports, for the play, for the divine drama of existence. And within each and everyone of you is this divine witness of all creation. The Supreme Consciousness, Parama Purusha, the Divine Entity resides within you and in that Divinity you are all one, pure, ever self resplendent, light of a hundred suns shines within you. All you need do is go deep within you, open your mind, open up your heart and forget all else. Remember only your divine self within. Forget all other identities
forget all other actions, forget all
little thought and remember who you are, remember your divine
nature and go within, deep within the open heart and the open
mind, to find that which you are, in the core of your existence.
And then you say, I love God.
