Q: In my sadhana, I can sometimes feel the tug of forces that you mentioned between the part of the being that aspires intensely wanting to push for this spiritual evolution and on the other hand there is also the sense of something tugging back. Can you do something to send some spiritual force to break through this? I feel kind of at a plateau where the force for evolution and the force that is the stagnation of the old consciousness, these seem too equal so that no definitive progress is being made and I wish to have some help to tip the balance so there is a very distinctive breakthrough in my spiritual evolution.

You know, there is one story. There was once a boy who wanted to go forward in his spiritual life but he did not know that there was one thing he must do to go forward. He did so many things, he did so many pujas, so much sadhana, he tried to help so many people, but still he was frustrated in his efforts because there was one thing that he did not do and he did not realize the significance of this small act. That was, each and every day, he was to open his heart, open his mind with complete love and sincerity and offer himself to the Supreme Purus'a. Only a simple act, takes only a few minutes each and every day. This surrender of ego, of all pain, of all suffering, surrender everything at the feet of Parama Purus'a. So that there is nothing left that you can say you are holding to as your own. Bring everything to Him in complete surrender each and every day. Just a few moments you take to give yourself to that pure Infinite Consciousness. Give all your heart, all your mind. Give your all to Him and His shower of love is bound to rain on you. And you will hear the rain of his compassion, His deep and undying love for you. For in Him is your home of homes. In Him you are ever complete and whole. In Him you are safe for all eternity. So take Him completely as your shelter and in that shelter you will find that you are completely at home. And how to give your surrender? Surrender everything. He is called Hari because He steals your sins, your pain, your illusions, your delusions and what does He give? He gives Himself, His love, His awareness to you. So you just take a few moments each day to sincerely surrender your all to Parama Purus'a, to the pure eternal, undying Divinity. Until all that you have perceived as yourself dissolves into Him. And I am sure you are getting and will be getting divine help in this matter.

Q: Your words are so powerful. The silent pauses between your words seem to be equally as powerful and I am led by this to wonder about your material presence on this planet while you were in the body and now your presence outside of the material sphere. When you were on the planet I never had darshan with you but I know your disciples and your Acaryas speak of the beauty and the power of your presence. I am wondering, are you more powerful now that you are out of the body or is it an equal experience in terms of your ability to affect the spiritual changes in our lives?

What I am I have always been and I will continue to be. Corporal expression or no corporal expression, it is the same. I do not change. But for those who reside in this mundane world, to perceive me, to communicate, I must have a physical structure, must I not? There are those who do not need to hear physical words or see a physical structure but for many children it is very important that something concrete be there in the physical world and so I have made arrangements to be expressing in this physical world because I love my children and I am for you. What was expressing in the form of P.R. Sarkar is what is expressing now. What will express in the future is the same. I am what I am. I may take different forms, I may come in many ways, but I am what I am. And my intention is singular. So you should not think "Did I miss something because I did not see the physical form of Baba?" You have missed nothing. What you have now is the same as what those who have had in the past tell you of.

You are the children of Parama Purus'a. You remember always your divine heritage, never forget, and be great.
