1.1.2 inspirational

There are many types of activities which one may engage in. But there is only one activity which befits human being and it is the pursuit of the Great. You know, there are those who say that human life is not precious, that is may be ( evil spent ) in many types of activities. But I say that human life is very precious and should not be squandered in ways which do not befits the dharma of human being. It is a rare opportunity which has been given to you to realize the Great, to know the divinity which lies quiescent within you. It is a rare opportunity and you should take advantage of this opportunity to the fullest extent, because to be a human being, to gain a human body is a blessing of Parama Purusha. For in this body, in this human structure lies the capacity, the potentiality to know the Supreme. So it is most fortuitous to have a human form. Be grateful for this form which you have been given and utilize it to the fullest, for the realization of the Great.

And you know, the question comes, if one wishes to know the Supreme Being, what one must do, what should be the proper approach to best utilize this human life for knowledge of the Great? This knowledge of the Great will dawn in the mind of a human being, when that mind becomes subtle and receptive to the inferential waves of the Supreme Cognitive Entity. The human mind must be made malleable, open , receptive to the waves of His inferential flow. So that that Divine presence may dawn in the mind, so that the waves of infinite love from the Supreme Purusha may be felt in the heart and the whole life become an expression of His divine existence. For He exists in each and everyone of you, lying quiescent, near to you, near to your "I" feeling. He is there near to you. When you feel " I exist ", know that He exists just there next to you, for in your existence, there must be cognition and in that cognition, the Supreme Purusha is awake. In your very capacity to recognize your own existence, He is there. Acknowledge Him aware. In your awareness He is aware. For you could have not awareness at all, where it not the reflection of His cognition.

So within you lies the seed of His consciousness and if you want to know Him, what must you do? You must look deep within yourself, to your own "I" feeling , your own sense of personal existence, for at the core of that sense, of that awareness lies the divine cognitive expression. And if you want to use the full potentiality of your human form, you must recognize Him within you, come to know Him, come to understand Him, come to melt your individuality into His Supreme and infinite flow of divinity.

So to know Him, you must take time each and every day to go within you, to recognize His presence within your own being, within your own existence and to realize that you separation from Him is only the deception of the mind. If you are to know Him, take away this veil of ignorance, align yourself to recognize within you the infinite beatitude of His cognitive expression. Take away the veil of darkness and of separation. Perceive the light which lies deep within you and recognize His presence in the core of your being, for there He lies still, peaceful, ever self-resplendent, awaiting you, calling to you, calling to you, to give up the veil of self-importance and recognize Him, see Him within you. When this is done the entire quality of your existence may be transformed. For when you find Him in the core of your own existence, when you find that in the little "I" lies the Great cognitive entity, recognizing, witnessing your very existence, you will come to recognize that you have no existence part from Him, were He not to witness your existence, you will cease to be.

So you are nothing but the expression of His cognitive flow which He is witnessing in you, in the play of your life, your mind, your existence. So you cannot say that you and He are far apart, for in fact He is so close, none could be closer. Only looking out into the world, you have forgotten Him, you have forgotten that He is near to you and dear to you. So take this opportunity to lead the life of a true human being and to recognize Him within you, to realize His omnipotent, omnipresent existence, His witnessship of your entire expression. Turn your mind inward to the very core of your existence and find Him there waiting for you and when you do so, merge your mind into Him. Let go off the petty "I" feeling which says: I am so important, I am an individual, let go of it. For He is the very core of your existence and you are nothing but His reflection. You have no individuality apart from what He gives you. Recognize Him within you and maintain your contact in this way and slowly your human life will be fruitful.

Baba, can you talk about the fear and if fear has its purpose.

Yes. This is a very good question. For fear is at the very corner stone of separation and has its roots in the experience of separateness. Were not the separateness there would be not fear. Fear exists because the feeling comes " I am separate from my Lord" and therefore being separate there is "I" and "Thou" and I may loose "Thou". So from this felling of duality and individuality comes the experience of human fear. It is part and parcel of human life and the human body.

It has both psychic and biological roots, but if the feeling of separateness is fully dissolved, if the human being comes to recognize the unity with the Supreme Purusha and lives their lives immersed in this realization, they will have nothing to fear, for there is no place to go, there is no experience to be had which is unsafe. Everything is within Him and when the mind gets ensconced in His divine flow, then the realization comes that there is nothing to be afraid of . Even death itself cannot touch you, for life and death, pain and pleasure, all dualities get dissolved in His intuitional flow and in that flow of divinity there is complete equanimity. In that equanimity there is the dissolution of fear. If you would know fear to be illusion, if you would step beyond the parameters of fear, you must go beyond the perception of individuality into the cognition of unification with the Supreme. When this unification is fully established in your mind, the equanimity which you will possess will make you fearless and even the biological propensity will become suppressed except when in defense of the physical structure it is required. Then it will exist, merely as a biological function. But for those human beings and other forms who have not understood their essential unity with the Supreme, fear is ever their companion and it will take any number of expressions. Though a man may say: I am quite fearless, if you look deep in him, you will find there is little bit fear. It is a natural result of duality and the path of sadhana is the path of the dissolution of fear. It is not for the weak hearted. For to walk through fear to love is a mighty journey. Alright.

Baba, if all women can help themselves to go beyond fear in order to express their feminine dharma, how feminine principle fit into this whole process of transformation?

For women biologically fear is greater and I would suggest that this fear not be suppressed but openly acknowledged, openly faced, openly understood. For to hide fear is useless. It will come at you in the end. There is no shame to feeling fear, to experiencing fear. There is no shame in this. The brave human beings will not run from fear, hiding from it, pretending to be fearless, but they will face it, knowing that though it appears to bite, it has at the end no substance, it is based on the delusion, false premise that you are separate from you Lord, that you are vulnerable, that you can be harmed. Pleasure and pain exist, life and death, death and life go on, but you cannot be harmed and for women this is most important to understand. Love is stronger than fear, will always be stronger and to be soft, to love, to care for others, to nurture them is the greatness of women and the best antidote of fear. Alright.

Baba, I have a personal question. I am in a process of utilizing and manifesting what is the next stage of my life's work and I am just wondering if you can get some guidance in this regard?

I will say this much to you. You never be afraid of what will come, you hold always to the Supreme and nothing can harm you, no one can hurt you, for you are loved beyond all measure. Keep yourself immersed in this love and no one will hurt you, it is your haven of safety, your shelter in the storm. If you stay immersed in His love, then your path will open before you and you do have nothing to worry for.
