1.3.3 lokas, 3.1 microvita
Q: Is the Bhuvarloka of the universe where the least subtle type
of microvita located?
The least subtle microvita exist both in bhurloka and in
bhuvarloka. Do you know why they are in both lokas? It is because
they have both psychic and physical expressions. They exist
not only in the psychic sphere but are traceable in the physical
world should one have equipment of sufficient refinement.
Therefore these psycho-physical microvitum have their resting
place in bhuvarloka but their expression in bhurloka. Alright?
Q: If so, is there physical space in bhuvarloka for the microvita?
There is no physical space in bhuvarloka for bhuvarloka is
the projection of the cosmic mind. In bhuvarloka the entire
universe is projected as a mental expression but in bhurloka
this mental expression becomes physical from the perspective
of the created beings. So it is in bhurloka that the most
crude type of microvita has its physical expression as I
have already indicated. There is no physical expression in
bhuvarloka.
Q: Please clarify about five fundamental factors in bhurloka and
bhuvarloka.
As I have said there is no physical expression in bhuvarloka.
It is the mental expression of the cosmic mind. But the entire
manifest universe is held in that mental expression so the
five fundamental factors exist not as physical factors but
as mental expressions of the cosmic mind. In bhurloka, they
take the form of physical factors. Do you comprehend? From
the perspective of the infinite entity this entire universe
is an internal projection of his mind. It is a psychic projection.
But in that psychic projection, when the created beings come
to exist, they view his psychic projection as a physical
universe external to themselves and this is bhurloka. So
you see the cosmic mind will project the entire manifest
universe as a mental projection. For the cosmic entity, it
is all an internal mental projection created within his mind.
But the same mental projection becomes, for the created beings,
an externalized physical universe. It is at this stage that there
are five physical factors. But in bhuvarloka they are mental
projections.
Q: If svarloka is for the second type of microvita, what about
the position of the subtle type of microvita? Are they in
maharloka, janarloka and taparloka?
These most subtle type of microvita carry the projected waves
of the cosmic entity which come directly from the cosmic
nucleus and find expression in maharloka, the realm of potentiality.
In janarloka and taparloka the subtle microvita rarely exist
for you know, everything in this universe must have a base.
The base of subtle microvita lies in the cosmic citta. They
are expressed in the manifest universe so they must have
a screen, a projected arena in which they may express. Even
these subtle microvita must have this. In janarloka the screen
or arena of projection in not developed. Its shadow of development
or precursor condition exists in this loka but the arena
of projection is not as yet manifest, even in potentiality.
But knowledge does exist in janarloka, knowledge of the great.
In this loka, the will to act, the awareness of the potentiality
of action exists and so that is why, though the screen or
arena of manifest expression is not yet developed, there
is still some initiating wave of action and in this initiating
wave there may be some psychic projection which might utilize some
degree of subtle expression but it is yet of a different
kind. It is of this most subtle form but of a different kind.
The expression in this loka is of the ahamtattva and the
awakening of knowledge of the capacity to create begins to
stir the vibratory frequencies until in maharloka, they develop
into an arena for the potential projection of manifestation
and citta comes to exist. In taparloka, there is only
the sense of self existence so this I' feeling, this sense
in the cosmic entity of its own existence is the base for
the awakening of knowledge, the awareness of the capacity
for action which exists in janarloka. So this sense of self
is the base for the sense of action and both of these combined,
this fully developed cosmic awareness, becomes the base for
the development of the citta and the arena for activity or
action. This then is the base for the various projections
which occur. The most subtle microvitum form an initial base
for the manifestation within the arena of cosmic projection.
You know, upon the inferential waves the subtle microvita
take movement and manifestation. They travel in the inferential
waves of this manifest universe. Those inferential waves
have their origin in janarloka but they take their first
manifestation in maharloka and in that loka you will find
the subtle microvita begin to traverse the waves but their
origin is in janarloka and so in janarloka there is the initial
resonance of the traversing of the inferential waves. But
since they are not as yet manifest, citta does not exist,
you will find it is a kind of shadow resonance, a resonance
in potentiality and there is a traversing of the inferential waves
by the most subtle microvita in a kind of shadow or echo
of what will come to exist in janarloka as the realm of potentiality
and most subtle manifestation within the arena of expression
or cosmic citta. The microvitum have their base in citta
and citta in ahamtattva and ahamtattva in mahatattva and
mahatattva in the supreme cognition. Alright?
Q: What about kundalini?
Are the energies within the three nadiis some kind of
microvita, and if so which type?
This is a very good question. The kula kundalini, the fundamental
negativity lies coiled at the base of the spine in muladhara
cakra. When it rises, it traverses the length and breadth
of this manifest universe to the supreme positivity or cosmic
nucleus in sahasrara cakra. This process utilizes not microvita
but attraction to the great. That is the fuel that propels
consciousness, pulls consciousness through the stages of
association back to the cosmic nucleus. Subtle microvita
are utilized to express this pull within the mind of a living
being. But the origin of this propulsion is not subtle microvita
but the cosmic nucleus itself. It pulls consciousness towards
itself and in the mind of a living being, a created being,
it will utilize subtle microvita to express and even psychic
microvita and ideas to express and on occasion it will utilize
psycho-physical expression and manifestation. This is the draw
of the great, manifesting. Kula kundalini is pulled upward
by this all attracting force generated by the cosmic entity. She
cannot help but dance with him sooner or later. The three
nadiis, ida, pingala and sushumna work in the physical body
and in the psychic body. So they exist in bhurloka and in
bhuvarloka. They exist in two bodies, the psychic body and
the physical body and they utilize microvitum as well as a
subtle substance in the etheric realm. They are the conduits
for prana. Ida and pingala will conduct psycho-physical energies
and modulate their directional flow. Sushumna has a physical,
neurologic base but it exists primarily in the psychic sphere
and conducts a non-physical substance. It conducts mind,
mental activity and as it raises and goes through the propensities
clustered in the energy formations in the different plexii,
it will mutate to more and more subtle expressions. So what
is conducted in sushumna is not microvita, it is mind at
different stages of development until it is altogether consumed
in consciousness alone. Ida and pingala are regulatory nadiis,
very important in the subtle system within the physical body
or correlative to the physical body which reads the association
between mind and body. These nadiis, this system of nadiis
regulate the association of mind and physical structure.
The ida and pingala will regulate the directional flow of
mind in association with body. Is it perfectly clear?
Q: Is not mind partly composed of microvita?
Mind is not composed of microvita, not unit mind. Cosmic
mind utilizes subtle microvita for expression. Unit mind
utilizes psychic microvita for expression of ideas but mind
is not composed of microvita. It utilizes microvita for its
manifestation or expression. Mind itself is the accumulated
reactive momenta of past reactions held in potentiality.
In order to express, it takes association with physical or
subtle vehicles and in that expression it may utilize microvita
but it is not composed of microvita. Microvita form the initial
development of life force and life force is carried upon
microvita. Unit mind is an outgrowth of association of life
force with physical structure but it is composed not of microvita
but of subtle mental fields associated with the kosas.
Q: Can you correlate the relation between chakras, nadiis and microvitum
considering that microvitum travel up to ajina cakra?
The microvitum travel in certain spheres. Negative microvitum
cannot exist above manipura cakra. Only the subtle microvita
will manifest above that point and positive and negative
do not apply to subtle microvitum. They are unidirectional.
They pull the living beings towards the cosmic nucleus. That
is their only function. But other microvitum have directional
flow and so may be positive or negative, may be towards diversity
and materialism or towards the supreme subjectivity. Depending
upon the stratum of mind that is dominant in expression,
you will find a dominance of different types of microvitum.
When in vishuddha cakra the longing for the great is fully activated,
you will find an all consuming passion of immense proportions
in which all the other mental proclivities get consumed and
the mind is shot forward out of its unit existence into its
cosmic origins. Microvitum may facilitate this process but
it is mind which is altered, which mutates, not microvitum.
Do you understand? Mind is malleable and so due to the all
attracting force of the cosmic expression, it mutates.
Q: Is there any correlation between endoplasmic coverage and microvita
and what is the difference between endoplasmic and ectoplasmic
stuff?
Endoplasmic coverage is the subtle development of subjective
expression and utilizes microvitum as I have said. It is
associated with ectoplasmic development or objectivity when
it comes in association with the physical world through kamamaya
kosa in bhurloka. Alright?
Q: As microvita evolve out of matter due to the pressures within
matter, is mind developed through the interaction of that
microvita with the physical world?
When the subtle microvita are developed, mind is already
established. Mind comes to play from the development of the
crudest microvita and its association with physical substance.
As sattvaguna gets expression and cosmic citta is freed from
the bondage of tamaguna, it becomes mind again. But it is
bound by sattva and raja and associated in binding through
microvita with physical atoms. Therefore mind remains bound
to the physical substance. It does not get displaced back
to the cosmic arena but remains bound by the microvitum.
Then when the physical atoms transmute, this bound mind and
microvitum become disassociated and mind becomes bound to
the psychic sphere. Because it has accumulated a trace in
association with physicality, it remains bound. Again it
associates and the trace grows in magnitude. There begins
to be a kind of mini mind within the cosmic mind. This forms
a created being, for this mini mind is associated with Purus'a
but has an experience of being bound. Purus'a appears to
be bound also from the perspective of the mini mind. So it
has a bound or limited self awareness, "I exist and
around me is an externalized universe I call the physical
world." This is the perspective of the bound mind or
mini mind, qualified in association with microvitum and physical
substance. Alright?
Q: If mini mind in the beginning is associated with crude microvita,
does the microvita have a mind separate from the mini mind?
It is a shadow which is developed upon the atom. When the
bondages of tamaguna become released and there is the entrance
of satvaguna and more subtle mind is freed from the bondage,
the constrictions of tamaguna but remains in association
with the constricted substance or physicality, there is the
development of microvitum. That microvitum is the shell or
form which mind manifests is and as mind grows in magnitude,
the form it takes will become more subtle, will become psychic,
ideas. You see? So mind takes form in association with microvitum
and is bound within this association. That is why it is unit
mind or gains a sense of individualized or separate existence
because it exists in association with microvitum. That is
its shell. Initially associated with atomic structure it
gains complexity in form, magnitude and expression as it
develops. So soon there is protozoa, then there is a fish
in the pond and then a frog and a toad and next a dog and
soon its self awareness grows to such a degree it must have
a human body to manifest the complexity of its development.
Then over time, physical bodies are not sufficient to manifest
its complexity and it must take subtle form or lose its self
altogether in its cosmic progenitor.
Q: Can you explain the difference between metazoic and protozoic
mind?
Metazoic minds are those which function in the subtle stratum.
Protozoic minds function only in a rudimentary fashion. Now
I cannot continue. I will resume this discourse at another
time.
Q: Are the fundamental positivity and the fundamental negativity
of brahmacakra language pertaining to the movement of energy?
If so, is the fundamental negativity the movement of kundalini
itself?
It may be said that the movement from the supreme, unqualified Purus'a to the manifestation of the five fundamental factors that occurs in saincara, is a movement from the fundamental positivity to the fundamental negativity and vice versa in pratisaincara from the fundamental negativity to the fundamental positivity of supreme cognition. But it may not be said that this is a movement of energy. It is a movement of mind. It is transmutation of mind and the transmutation of consciousness that is bound in mind. So this is a process of transmutation of consciousness and mind. It is not a process of the movement of energy. At particular stages in this transmutation process, one may call the substance which has origin, energy. There is physical energy and life force energy. They are two different types of energy and they exist in different stages of this transmutative process. But what is transformed due to the energy? It is mind that is transformed, cosmic mind. So you see, this movement from the fundamental positivity to the fundamental negativity is a transmutation of mind and what is this cosmic mind composed of? It is composed of qualified cognition. It is Parama Purus'a in varying degrees of qualification bound by Prakriti. So you see, there is only one substance, though it appears to be many different substances. Even the cosmic mind which is transmuted into all of the manifest universe and into the living beings of the universe is nothing but qualified cognition. It is the supreme Purus'a, the supreme conscious existence, qualified and mutated by Prakriti and her operative principles. So you see, what moves in this universe is mind, not energy. At one stage you may call it energy, at another you may call it matter, at another you may call it subtle mind. So you cannot say it is energy, but it is mind. Mind moves from a position of fundamental positivity in which it is completely absorbed into its primal state of pure cognition and then it moves from the fundamental positivity though the cycle of evolution to the state of fundamental negativity where you may say it is completely bound in matter. Then again it moves to the state of fundamental positivity. This is the cycle of brahmacakra.
Now, the kula kundalini exists within the human body. This
advancement of consciousness takes place through the operation
of a proper physical structure until such a time as mind
and consciousness do not require physical structure. That
movement within a physical body is the movement of kula kundalini
from the fundamental negativity to the fundamental positivity
and in this, the consciousness bound in a created being,
the mind stuff bound in a created being, moves from the fundamental
negativity in association with material existence to the
fundamental positivity freed from all material associations.
It gets again lost in the supreme Purus'a. So this movement
that takes place within the physical structure of a created
being is the movement of the kula kundalinii. Do you understand?
The kula kundalinii resides at the base of the spine a human
body. In order to have a kundalinii, there must be certain
physiological developments in the structure which the living
beings is inhabiting. If those are not there, if there is
no spinal column, then there can be no kundalinii. So when
this movement from the fundamental negativity to the fundamental positivity
is expressed in the body and mind of a created being, the
vehicle for that movement is the kundalinii. But the movement
itself is the transformation of consciousness bound in mind
and associated with matter. The kundalinii is the vehicle
for the transmutation, for mind is associated with matter
through the interface of the subtle energy systems expressed
through the nadiis and joined in the sleeping serpentine
energies coiled at the base of the spine. The plexii and
chakras serve as energy centers for the expression and development
of the propensities and have direct interface with the physical
structure so that these propensities develop expression in
the material universe or bhurloka. Alright, I think it is
clear?
Q: If mind utilizes microvita to interface with the physical structure,
does that mean the human mind also has a microvita body?
Mind is expressed in the form of ideas, thoughts and feelings.
These are carried through the second stage microvitum. So
it is not that mind has a separate body, but that it manifests
in these psycho-physical and psychic waves. The cosmic mind
and mind of unit entities associated with very subtle spheres
will use the more subtle microvitum and on rare occasions
the psychic and psychophysical microvitum also may be used
by the cosmic mind. So mind does not have a microvitum body
but it manifests its expression through the signature of
microvitum.
