I will speak this morning upon the subject of microvita. You know, I have been saying that microvita are the product of the transmutation of matter into subtle energy, and that energy is life force. So the life force is created from matter, and mind - unit mind - is created from life force. So microvitum are the base of mind. Ideas are created and carried in this media.
But the Cosmic Mind, the Cosmic Emanation has a different medium. It's medium is consciousness, that is, Parama Purus'a. Parama Purus'a is the medium in which the Cosmic Mind evolves. The mahat comes into existence in the media of consciousness or divine cognition. Within that medium the "I am", the sense of one's own existence, the "I" feeling of the Cosmic Entity, finds manifestation. So it can be said that the "I" feeling, or the mahat, is based in the cognitive awareness fundamental to Parama Purus'a, not in microvita. But when that Cosmic Mind begins to formulate and develop through the five fundamental factors, its thoughts take on the live expression of this manifest universe. That is to say, when the Cosmic Entity thinks, He does not create ideas like the unit mind. He creates reality through the use of the operative principles and the five fundamental factors. Therefore, when the Cosmic Mind develops and expresses, He does not think "Oh, I wish so and so." What happens, what is His whim, merely occurs as per the expression of Prakrti and the five fundamental factors. So it cannot be said that Parama Purus'a utilizes microvitum for His expression. He utilizes the five fundamental factors and Prakriti. He is the base, the medium in which the Cosmic Mind operates.
Now, the unit mind must also have a medium. But the medium of unit mind is not merely consciousness or cognition. That is there, but unit mind cannot exist without life force. It is in this medium of microvitum that unit mind develops, through which it operates. So unit mind does not create externalized realities in the same fashion as Cosmic Mind. When the Cosmic Dreamer dreams, it is solid reality to the unit mind. When the unit mind expresses, it utilizes ideas, mental waves. And from those mental waves, through the physical vehicle, it impacts the physical world. But its media is mental.
There is one exception in this process. When the unit mind is fully expanded, is fully developed, it can merge itself into the Cosmic Mind. The Cosmic Doer will replace the jiiva. The atman will be melded with the Paramatman. The sense of "I am" will get merged in the Cosmic Mahat. So the individuality will get dissolved and, although there is mind and body, the Cosmic Entity presides. When this occurs, it is a very unique occurrence and then the residuals of unit mind - that is to say, the body and the associated physical function with the physical realm - will operate in a different fashion than previously. Microvitum will still be the medium, but the Cosmic Entity will be the director.
When this occurs, neither unit mind nor Cosmic Mind are manifest. Parama Purus'a, through the direction of the five fundamental factors and the Cosmic Aham gets direct manifestation in the physical world. And in this special instance only, in this aspect, Cosmic Mind will use microvitum as it's medium. For it is a unique function of the Cosmic Mind in which Parama Purus'a interacts directly with His creation. And why is this? Because He loves His creation very much and He would bring all back unto Himself. He has an innate desire to merge all the living beings back into Himself, to call His created universe back unto Himself. And, in this capacity, He will operate in the world of ideas. He will utilize the living medium for His expression. So you see, under this circumstance, the Cosmic Mind will utilize the microvitum for it's direct expression. Is it clear? Is this point now clarified?
Now I will speak more personally. You know, you boys and girls are all the children of Parama Purus'a. None should be considered outside of His domain. All are his children, he loves all equally, His heart is for all. The innocent child and the bank robber are both dear to Him; they are both His own. There is no one - no one - He will reject. All are His very own.
But some children show more interest in Him. They want to know Him. They want to know Him with very much sincerity. These children are especially dear because He cannot hide from them. They will not accept His games and laws, they only want Him. So He becomes very fond of them. He must have such children. It is His duty and He will not allow such children to be without His assistance, for He cares very much, very much.
Now, if you would be one of these who
is near and dear, what must you do? You must think of Him twenty-four
hours a day. Think only of Him when you eat the breakfast. Remember
Him when you are with children; think He is there with you, with
your child, in the sweetness of your child. Love Him in all that
you see, all that you come in contact with. Keep him ever in the
forefront of your mind, ever with you. Become absorbed in Him.
Put all else aside. Those that stay near are bound to have Him
close. Very, very close. So remain near, close to your Ishta.
No one can come between you and your Ishta. You hold to Guru,
day and night, in all circumstance. Alright?
