Jadasphota and life

August 1, 1996

Q: In Ananda Marga philosophy it is said that celestial bodies in their evolution will either undergo jadasphota or there will be the expression of life. Yet it seems there are many celestial bodies in which jadasphota has not occurred, and yet neither is there expression of life. How can this be explained?

This is because insufficient time has passed. If you would wait let  us say several crores, you would find that those solar systems which have had no development of life will implode. I have said regarding microvita that either there is the development of life force and microvitum or there is over condensation and the implosion of matter which eventually leads to  jadasphota. So what I have said, it is correct. Only time must be very great before it can be perceived. You know, those stars which have imploded, they  did not develop planets which housed living substances. For stars which have been fertile in the context of their existence, this implosion does not  occur, for they give their all to the nurturance of that life which has  developed in their sphere. You see, sun will not develop living beings upon  its surface. But if it is in its heavenly bodies that such developments  occurs, it is an extension, a projection of its system, and therefore its  own offspring. So life will not develop upon the star, but upon its heavenly projections as a result of the expression of the energies from that star. It works like this in heavenly clusters, not each planet per se. They are  heavenly ecosystems.

Q: Does this mean that there are flows of energy between the sun and planets in this ecosystem that we presently don't recognize or understand?

It is already well-known that the sun supplies light, heat, energy  to the heavenly bodies in its gravitational field. These physical laws are stable. Also, you will remember microvitum are produced in very large number in the densified core and are also emitted from the solar body. Thus these  microvitum activate the planetary bodies. Development of ecosystems and the  internally generated microvitum in those planetary bodies having  gravitational fields will interact or complement those coming from the  central star. And they will become the patterning forces for the development of an evolutionary system in the planetary sphere. Do you understand?

You see, life is all around you. I have said that the planet is  alive and the bright sun is also alive and radiant, emanating its life force out to its children who are caught in its gravitational pull. It is holding  them like a mother, and it nurtures these children so that they may mature  and develop a life force. Now not all of the children may mature thus. But  at least one, it is the hope of the solar entity.

Q: Can it be said that the solar entity has some form of consciousness or is living in its own right?

Yes, yes it can be said. But that life is not as yours.

Q: Did the ancient peoples who worshipped the sun have some sense of the sun as being a living entity supplying life to earth?

They knew that the sun is the supporter of life. Even science recognizes this. It is not obscure, and to those people it was quite obvious that without the light and power of the sun, where would they be?

Q: But in a more subtle sphere?

Yes, they knew. You see, in the feelings of these people who were  the so-called primitives, they were very aware - many of these people, not  all, but many were very aware that this is a living universe. And in their philosophy they understood the life force which emanates from the sun, and  they understood there was a certain type of force generated that was conducive to their life. That is why they gave reverence to the sun, and to the moon as well as his reflection. So these peoples, many of them, had a good understanding of this celestial relationship - the familial relationship between the solar entity and the earth upon which they lived and their own existence. It is only in modern society that society that human beings have come to feel themselves apart and separate and have lost a sense of their heritage.
